11月2日（月）～10日(火)本校において、「English Academic Forum」が行われました。これは、東北学院大学中高大一貫教育英語専門委員会によって実現された企画で、本校の2年生の生徒が教養学部の先生方の講義を受けるものです。

Ernest Miller Hemingway (1899~1961), the ex-patriot and iconic American writer of the first-half of the 20th century, used his experiences gained during travel and war as major elements in his writing. Much of Hemingway's work derives directly from his own personal experiences from the lakes and woods of northern Michigan, the battlefields of Europe, the green hills and plains of Africa, and the fishing villages and aquamarine waters of the Caribbean. Moreover, the different geographical areas and battlefields correspond directly to the various periods of writing produced by the prolific author. Hemingway fused his work with the experiences and perspectives gained during his extensive life and travel overseas.
